One of the biggest features of this excellent family-owned and run campsite is that it appeals to different people at different times of the year. In April, May, June and September the site is quieter and more suited to couples looking for a relaxing break. In July and August, the site really livens up so is more suited to those couples looking for a busier time and families with older children, including those up to 15/16 years of age.
Situated just five minutes from the main A8 Autoroute, this top grade four-star site lies within a pine forest, so the air is heavy with pine scent, really helping to make you feel back with nature. There are approximately 675 emplacements spread over the site, but each plot has sufficient space so it doesn't ever feel too busy. Holiday Green is a hilly site, so is not really recommended for those who would have difficulties with hills. It is 1 mile (1.6km) round the site, and the hilly circuit makes for an excellent jog. The site is popular with the British, Dutch, German and, of course, French.
Holiday Green is a member of the ‘camping qualite’ association of France, so you can be guaranteed that this site offers a whole range of high quality facilities.
These include:
Within ten-fifteen minutes walking distance of Holiday Green (turn right at main entrance), there is a small shopping centre which has Cafes, Bars, Creperie, Restaurants, including oriental restaurant and five-star fish restaurant, Gelateria, Grocers shop and mini-Supermarket, Hairdressers, Patisserie and Vintner. Some of these restaurants even serve wine produced in the local (5 minutes away) wineyard 'Domaine de Curbeasse'.
There is a free bus service from the site to Frejus town, beach and Aquatica water park in July and August and the local bus runs an excellent service if you want a day off from driving.
